POOLER - Mr. Dennis L. Dunbar, Jr., 37 entered eternal rest, Thursday, January 6, 2021 at Memorial Health University Medical Center. He was born to the late Mr. Dennis and Joyce Mills Dunbar in Savannah, GA. Dennis received his educated in the local schools and a graduate of Alfred E. Beach High, Class of 2002. He ran track for the mighty Bulldogs. After graduating from, he went on to work for Denny's, where he served as the lead short order cook for many years. He then went on to work for Norfolk Southern Railroad as a train conductor for eight years. He was united in holy matrimony to Rakeila Manning on February 21, 2019. This union was blessed with their pride and joy, Ms. DeZahri L. Dunbar (Juisy). Dennis love for his family was unmatched, he cared for both his father and mother until their life transition. If you knew Dennis, you knew his love for his Raiders was win, lose, or draw. He LOVED his Raiders! Dennis was predeceased in death by both parents, Dennis L. Dunbar Sr., and Joyce Dunbar; his aunt Patricia Bolar (Tony) of Magnolia, TX, two uncles: Charles Barbie and James Dunbar. Dennis will always be remembered in love and survived by his loving wife, Rakeila Manning-Dunbar, his beautiful daughter princess DeZahri Lemenia Dunbar, two brothers: Tommy Ford Jr. of Savannah, Ga and Troy Singleton, of Beaufort, SC., seven aunts: Catherine Harris and Phylecia Rivers (Levi)of Beaufort, SC; Brinda Massey (Robert)of Jacksonville, NC; Willie Mae Williams (Bari)of Columbus, GA; Ronnie Brock (Daniel) of Falls Church, VA: Dayna Garrett-Graves of Chesapeake, VA; Melissa Moultrie (Tyrone)of Spring, TX; one uncle Kane Dunbar (Sherri)of Montgomery, TX; one mother-in-law: Dr. Wilhelmenia Manning, one father-in-law: Raphael (Deloris) Manning, two sisters in laws: Re'Andra (Craig) Reid, Raphnee Manning, two brothers in law; Rhett and Raphael Manning. Six nephews: Tyre Robinson, Rayshawn Robinson, Garrhet Manning, Rahnay Burroughs, Tommy Ford Jr., and Raphael Manning Jr., three nieces: Malina Robinson, Alexandria Manning, and Talour Ford, and very dear, close and longtime friend Mickel Francis, and a host of cousins, family, loved ones, and friends. It is requested that a mask must be worn appropriately by all that are attending the services FOR THE SAFEFY OF EVERYONE, regardless of vaccination status.
