Mrs. Delsa Frazier Jason
January 11, 1946 - February 6, 2019
Mrs. Delsa Frazier Jason "Big Mama", 73 entered eternal rest on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Memorial Health University Medical Center. She was a lifelong native of Chatham County and educated in the public schools. She received her Commercial Drivers License and was employed with the City of Savannah as a Truck Driver, retiring after 30 years of service. She was a member of First African Baptist Church (Franklin Square) where she served faithfully on the Senior Usher Board and the Brown Bag Ministry. Mrs. Delsa also worked as a CNA; several restaurants, Carey Hilliards, Frank Paris and the Pirate House. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents Henry and Louise Johnson Frazier, her husband, James Jason. Surviving are: daughter,Thelma M. Butler (Lawrence);son, Gregory D. Jason Sr. (Di'anne), sisters, Mary Bates (Larry), Edna Mae Jackson; brothers; Richard Frazier, Quezel Frazier, Ozzie Frazier (Elizabeth) all of Savannah; 16 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
