SAVANNAH - Mrs. Annie Kate Brown Winbush, “Ma Peach” 77 passed away, July 3, 2014 at her residence. She was a native of Brownwood, Georgia. In her early years, she moved to Savannah where she was educated in the public schools. She was a graduate of Beach High School, Class of 1954. She was a beautician and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Junior League, and Sister’s Night Out Ladies Club. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Winbush, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter, Melinda F. Winbush, of Columbia, SC; three sons, Sherwin W. Winbush (Cynthia), of Schertz, TX, Clifford H. Winbush, Jr. (Viola) and Eric L. Winbush, both of Savannah; eight grandchildren, Octavia R. Winbush-Thomas (Chris) of Ellabell, Teshan Sheilds (Brandon) of Atlanta, Angel Winbush, Travis Winbush (Andrea), and Rachel Winbush all of Savannah; Sherwin Winbush, Jr., Zachery Winbush, and Zonobia Winbush all of Texas, a host of great grands, other relatives and friends.
